Choice of current collector material for air and fuel (Au, Ni, Cu, etc.)

Easy sealing with soft deformable mica. Double or triple ring is used to ensure the tightness around the cell. Other sealing can be used (glass, gold, etc.)

Steam injection on both electrodes for electrolysis, liquid injection, CH4 steam reforming with temperature control

Gas recovery and temperature reading on both sides of the cell

Cells dimensions from 25 to 50 mm diameter, fixed electrode diameter of 14 mm

Independant pressure setting on sealing and electrodes. Up to 80 kg can be applied on the cell edges allowing the soft mica to seal the cell (blue arrows), whereas the alumina tubes only apply 100 to 600 g on the electrodes for proper current collection and potential sensing (pink arrows)
